Hugo Chavez's personal life seemed simple. He was a talented singer. Chavez was also a charming man. Chavez was married to Nancy Colmenares. They were divorced in 1992. This was before he was president. Nancy and Chavez had 4 children. Chavez was close to his 4 children. Chavez's second wife was Marisabel Rodriguez Oropesa. They were divorced while he was president in 2003. They also had one daughter.

Chavez and Castro were very close friends. Chavez even looked up to Castro. Chavez used to help Castro and his country. Chavez would help Castro even while Chavez himself wasn't too wealthy. Chavez would help by giving him oil. Fidel Castro ruled Cuba for 48 years. Cuba would also help Venezuela in the ways it could.

Hugo Chavez Poisoned?
Many people began the investigation on whether Hugo was poisoned. They thought he was poisoned by his rivals. It was said that Hugo died because of "suspect illness". Maduro also claimed that they will seek the truth. He said they will seek the truth to find out if it was his rivals that tried to get him out of the way. Maduro also kept discussing the issue of Chavez and his death. He kept discussing it because he wanted them to keep Chavez in thought. Venezuela is a country on the northern coast of South America. In 1992 the president was Carlos. Chavez at the time attempted to overthrow the government. Chavez's attempt didnt succeed. Hugo Chavez was thrown in jail. After Chavez's attempt another organization attempted to overthrow the government at the time. They also didnt succeed. In 1998, Chávez was elected president. He was elected because the people didnt like the new policies that were established in Carlos's time.

Carnivals & Holidays
Venezuela celebrates their carnivals very joyfully. They usually celebrate with all of their families and friends. They include dance and music as well. In the carnivals they dont fill up the balloons with air. They fill it up with water. The carnival usually takes place in February. This isn't any ordinary event for them.
